  • If you would like to help the Trust you can do this in a variety of ways. Do you have a special skill that we need, such as IT skills to support the website, or governance skills to become a Trustee? Perhaps you would like to volunteer to raise funds to support the work that we have been doing for decades, to support people affected by dementia. If you’d like to help, get in touch through admin@dementiatrust.org

  • Yes we do! …and beyond. On the site you will see examples of our work as far away from our origins in Scotland as India. There is no geographical boundary to our Disruption Awards programme. We have supported international visitors to the UK to learn about dementia and have funded international conferences and study days. Dementia knows no boundaries.

  • The Dementia Trust website offers a range of information and signposts even more. Our short informational videos cover a range of issues such as care home care, and powers of attorney. They include links to projects about rare dementias which we have supported through the Disruption Awards.

  • Yes, you can! Contact the Trust adviser for details of what we seek. The editorial decisions are final, but there’s a wide range of possibilities.

  • The Trust only makes awards through the Disruption Programme. The announcements and calls for applications are made on the website and through the newsletter, so sign up to hear more.
