Do you have an unusual or novel idea which disrupts the typical thinking about dementia?  Would an award of up to £10,000 help you put your idea in action?

 After funding eight successful projects since 2019 Trustees of the Dementia Services Development Trust are looking for new ideas to support in 2022, with grants of up to £10,000.  You can find out more about previous Disruption Award projects here

This is for the first stage of application. The closing date for first stage applications is April 14, 2022 NEW DEADLINE 18 APRIL 2022; those projects shortlisted to take part in the second stage will be informed by the end of April.  At second stage we will ask you for more detail about your proposal but this remains a simple process.  It is expected that the project would be completed within a six month period.

The reporting for this project is light touch, but successful applicants will be asked to offer a progress blog which the Trust promotes via social media and to present the outcomes of you project at a celebration event, usually at year end.  at the end.  The projects will be presented on the Trust website. 

The final decision about awards will be made at the May meeting of the Trustees and announced in the Trust Newsletter for which you can sign up HERE. Successful applicants will be contacted directly.
